About the Authors
Kathryn Kuehnle, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Florida Mental Health Institute's Department of Mental Health Law and Policy at the University of South Florida.  She is also a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Tampa, Florida, specializing in the evaluation of children alleged to have been sexually abused and in the treatment of children and other victims of family violence.

Lenore E. A. Walker, EdD, ABPP, is a Professor of Psychology in the Center for Psychological Studies at Nova Southeastern University and coordinates their doctoral forensic psychology concentration.  She also teaches in the Criminal Justice Institute and is the Executive Director of the Domestic Violence Institute.  Dr. Walker introduced the concept of Battered Woman Syndrome in assessment and treatment, and pioneered its use in the courts.
