A 6-credit, 60 question Continuing Education Program based on the book Multiple Relationships and Conflict of Interest for Mental Health Professionals: A Conservative Psycholegal Approach by Bruce W. Ebert, PhD, JD, LLM. Participants will acquire new knowledge to enhance their understanding of the ethical dilemmas involving multiple relationships that can and do occur when practicing in the mental health field.

Topics for Study: Multiple relationships and their consequences for the mental health practitioner; the issues involved in multiple relationships; which relationships present problems; sexual relationships with current and former clients; social relationships with clients; the use of insider trading and other information gained while providing professional services; the employment of clients; treating multiple members of a family; and multiple relationships within a forensic setting.
