About the Author

Paul G. Swingle, PhD, is professor of psychology in the School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa.  In private practice for many years, Dr. Swingle was formerly the Director of Behavioral Medicine at Behavior Associates in Boston.  Professor Swingle is a highly published author who also holds appointments as Associate Attending Psychologist and Coordinator of Clinical Psychophysiology at McLean Hospital, is a Lecturer on Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Psychological Association.
