About the Editors

Thomas L. Jackson, PhD, has directed two American Psychological Association (APA) accredited clinical psychology doctoral programs, and has been a member and chair of the Boards of Examiners in Psychology in two different states. He has also chaired APA's Committee on Accreditation and has served on several other APA committees and task forces. His research and clinical interests involve all aspects of interpersonal and intimate-partner violence and have resulted in over 125 articles, chapters, books, and regional, national, and international presentations. He is currently Director of Aggression and Violence Prevention Consultants. Dr. Jackson was an Associate Editor of Innovations in Clinical Practice: A Source Book, volumes 11-20 and Innovations in Clinical Practice: Focus on Children & Adolescents. |

Leon VandeCreek, PhD, is a licensed pscyhologist who is the past dean and current Professor of Psychology in the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He has been awarded the Diplomate in Clinical Psychology (ABPP) and he is a Fellow of several American Psychological Association divisions. His interests include professional training and ethical/legal issues related to professional education and practice. Dr. VandeCreek has served as President of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association and Chair of the APA Insurance Trust. He is currently the Treasurer of the Division of Psycotherapy. He has authored and coauthored more about 140 professional presentations and publications, including 11 books. Since 1992, he has served as Senior Editor of the Innovations in Clinical Practice: A Source Book series. |
