About the Authors
Ronald J. Friedman, PhD, is a psychologist with 25 years of experience developing and marketing seminars and workshops. He has been assistant professor of Pediatrics at the University of Iowa College of Medicine and associate professor of Applied Psychology at the University of Toronto and the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. For 15 years he was in private practice in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. At present, Dr. Friedman is executive director of the Educational Development Center, consulting with health care professionals about seminar development and marketing. He also travels nearly 150 days a year presenting seminars. |
Penny Altman, MA, is president of the Educational Development Center where her responsibilities include development and presentation of over 100 seminars, workshops, and other training programs each year. She also consults to numerous businesses, schools, and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to establishing the Educational Development Center. Ms. Altman was a Senior Development Consultant at Allstate Insurance Company where she was responsible for major organizational change, management and executive development, and team training. In addition, she has taught university courses on public speaking, organizational behavior, and training and development. |
