About the Presenter

Charles Patrick Ewing, JD, PhD, ABPP (forensic) is a licensed forensic and clinical psychologist and an attorney.  A graduate with honors of Harvard Law School, Dr. Ewing also received his doctorate in psychology from Cornell University.  He is currently SUNY Distinguished Service Professor at The State University of New York at Buffalo, where he teaches criminal law, juvenile law, and courses on the relationship of psychology and psychiatry to law.  Before obtaining his law degree, he was a practicing clinical psychologist.  Dr. Ewing is the author or co-author of nine books and over 60 other publications.  He has conducted numerous workshops relating to psychology and the law and has written extensively in the areas of psychotherapy, professional ethics, and psychology and the law.
