Topics for Study:  Basics of deception and its detection; behavioral cues and interviewing strategies for detecting deception; psychological tests for detecting deception; use of the MMPI-2; specific measures for detecting deception; exaggeration and feigning of neurocognitive dysfunction; hypnosis and the polygraph; detecting malingering and dissimulation in children and adolescents; assessing psychopathy and its relationship to detecting deception.
